Nice. Reminds me a bit of Liv Typer. Who is this? Her dress? is a woderful colour, brings our her eyes.
The shadow on her face makes her skin look a bit too much like plastic.
Her hair is great.

Wow! A lovely picture! I haven't read your fic, so I don't know who she is, but it's a great drawing! Love the bow and arrow and the sunlight-through-windows effect in the corridor.. Just wonderful!

*smacks self in head* I knew there was something else about the crossbow. Yeah, it won't really do a lot of good unless it's drawn, will it? : )

Beautifully done portrait - you've hit the expression of surprise, alarm and grit just perfect. And add me to the list of people who like the icy magical glint of the bolthead (arrowhead)
Just one nitpick - why is the string in the unloaded position? The bow won't fire unless the string is drawn back to the butt of the bolt.

Maybe the answer is in the story... Off to have a look.

As always...brilliant to a point!!! I adore the light pouring in through the Cathredral-like windows. The glint at the tip of her arrow. You know why I love this picture, Axelle, because it reminds me of Orlando (I can explain) and Liv. Is it just me or does she look uncannily like Liv Tyler. Brilliant. I love Liv. I saw the bow and my mind thought: Legolas - then shot straight to Orlando. I know I'm bad.
You know what my favorite part is, though? Her hair line. Don't know why, but you did that spectucularily. I can see each lock being pulled back. And the errant strands falling into her eyes. Aaahhh...wonderful. What is Ron talking about? She is a beauty!!!!
Bravo to you Axelle. Emma's right. You do have a fan club and I am member #1.
Cheers.

Oh, it's from S.O.B. Yes, because I was like "Randomness..." Well, anyway. This is absolutely beautiful. Her expression, looking over her shoulder...it just sets the mood, it's like a movie poster. Her eyes especially. But that bow is a little small, and I can't quite figure out how she's holding it...

I love the background, very Hogwarts. Light and shadow, gaah.

Wow, gorgeous work! Lovely lady - she looks quite competent (and armed with a weapon Hogwart's resident Nazgul would approve of!). I really like the view down the hall and the sunlight streaming in through the windows, it gives the scene a very 'real' feel to it.

This is perfect because it looks like the corridors at Hogwarts. I love the expression on Bethany's face as well. I wouldn't want to meet up with her in a dark alley, but I also think she could be a good friend, if she let herself have a friend.

She does look like Monica Bellucci! What beautiful detailing -- the wisps of hair on her temple and shoulder, the illumination of that little nook, the moonlight streaming through the windows... And I love the glint coming from her arrow, as though it's saying, "I've got your name right here, Snuffles..." ;)

Gorgeous!

Stunning picture and again I really love the background details you put in - the colour and shading of the light coming through the arched windows is beautiful. I like the crossbow by the way, it looks wickedly dangerous, but still somehow pretty - the perfect murderous accessory! Bethany's courage and determination comes through very well here, I can easily imagine her charging off into the Forbidden Forrest ready to take on all-comers!

Awesome! The wonderful depth of the corridor, the fierce look in her eyes, and that arrow looks so dreadfully sharp!

A very dangerous lady!! Beautiful and seductive, but wonderful cold and determined eyes.

The lighting effects are excellent - the ti of the arrow, pointing down the corridor where the light slants in through the windows.

Really stunning picture. I love the corridor vanishing off in the distance. Her expression is also very intriguing--very suspicious.

I need to read this story, I think!
