YAY! PADFOOT RETURNS! You made the archway/veil perfect! Even if Sirius doesn't come back (which I really hope he does!!!!!) this image of him lurking just beyond reach, half-visible, seems to reflect Harry's feeling that if he just pulled back the veil...

| i cant believe that JKR killed Sirius!!!! he is my favorite character in the book! I'm still in denial. i shouldent get my hopes up that he'll be alive somehow. i just wonder what is that purpose of that archway. is it used to get rid of criminals? anyway grat pic. I like how you made the archway look ancient. |

Must compliment the attention to detail-- you can tell the stone of the arch is really old and crumbling.
Also, the coloring captures the atmosphere of that room excellently.

ouch!!! IM GONNA KILL JOJO FOR KILLING OFF SIRIUS[who was going to be my future husband]!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you know, i heard this story when an author tried to kill off his main character from the famous series he wrote, riots broke up among the streets from the fans so then the author let his character live. hmmm.... maybe we could riot on the streets and change jkr's mind......

I also like that there is light on the other side. And I like the feeling that the dog is sort of looking around the corner. I'm very fond of his red tong! That "makes" the picture.
I would of course love if this was true. But even if Sirius will not come back to normal life, I have a feeling that we have not heard the last from him... |

We can dream, my friend, but trust me - it will not happen. Were we the only ones in fandom who were so keyed up for a death in OotP that Sirius's death barely registered with us?? It was like, he fell through the veil and *&^WHAM@#$BAM(*&FIGHTSCENE@#$% **p.s. Sirius is unaccounted for ***&^%MAJORCHAOS&^%* _ Uh... did someone die here? Oh well... we miss him, truly we do, but are Very Disappointed in J.K. for the way she handled it all. Realize this is more of a canon gripe than an art critique, but we simply couldn't resist. We like your art with the sad sort of admiration that sighs....If Only!

| I like the attention to detail -- the stones are chipped and the veil is tattered, just like the arch is described in the book. I also like how you have light coming from behind the veil. A neat idea to have Padfoot emerging instead of Sirius. Good job. |

THIS IS SOOOOOOO GREAT!!! He is finally done playing hide-and-seek!!! He is BACK!!!!!!!!!! I doubt he'll come back (though hopes are still up), however I was in denial (still am too). You should honestly see my room, you could say I'm a BIT obsessed..... ok ok, I'm EXETREMELY obsessed with him. Well, just wanted to say, great pic!!! Colors, the dimesions, and most of all............... SIRIUS!!!! :) Can I make a suggestion?? Well, could you write more stories on Sirius in them??? Well it was only a suggestion :) .

Oh, and this is a very nice piece of artwork, by the way. I like the fact that you had Padfoot coming out of the curtain instead of Sirius as a human. And I am also jealous of your ability to draw stairs. ::pouts:: I cannot get it right!
