:( angsty slash... the worst kind, yet you wrote it beautifully... very bittersweet, eh?

Very good story--this is my second time reading it. I find it very compelling to think of Remus and Sirus in PoA not as former lovers, but rather as two people who loved each other very deeply as friends and who could possibly love each other as more. And this story was that exactly. Sirius loves Remus so deeply and knows how crucial his friendship is to Remus, that he doesn't dare destroy what they already have by trying for more. He's trying to do the right thing for Remus and can't see how much he's hurting him in the process. I hope the two of them have a post-Azkaban "happily ever after."

Hey, me again - saw a new fic of yours and had to read it. I'm not really a slash fan but this was beautifully done. The dynamics between Remus and Sirius, and between all the Maurauders was perfect. It gave us a good insight into what their relationships could have been like. The slash was mild and I think the story was the better for it - instead of focusing on the fact that they were two people of the same sex who had feelings for each other you focused on the fact that it was a person who was in love yet hated himself for it. Your Remus was very canon like - he was haunted and his feelings were the least of his problems. He was troubled because he was a werewolf, what he considered to be a freak. He was worried because he couldn't see anything else in his life apart from what he had and he was scared that one day his friends would go off and he'd be on his own and then, finally he was confused about his feelings. Like so many of your other writing this one also had the many depths, the hidden layers and it's only when you sit and think about it afterwards that you appreciate how well constructed each piece of writing is.

I'll e-mail you with some questions and a request about maybe writing a fic but I just wanted to leave a review here. Very, very well done and who knows, one day everyone else will see you on the bookshelf where you belong.
