Well, the imagery is vivid, if the story is a bit hard to follow.

Very original idea, well carried out! I especially liked Karkaroff's waffling over his decision:

>Throughout the dinner, he seemed more nervous than he had been in all his life. He knew on one hand he would most likely be killed if he did not go along with Lord Voldemort. Yet on the other hand, if the plan failed and he was caught, his career would be over forever. Who did he fear more, the Ministry or He-Who-Should-Not-Be-Named? His mind was made. Betraying the world it would have to be. After dinner, he quickly went to his cabin and retired to his bed for the night.

Nice way of showing how divided he is (or how cowardly). The final sentence of the story is particularly lovely.

Very interesting! I think you referred to "the body" a bit too often in the first part, but I liked that you added detail to what happened in the Riddle House (Frank's wife coming in and being killed -- that Voldemort is really a nasty one, isn't he?) and in Durmstrang. I would have loved to read more about what the ship looked like inside, etc., but this is good for a first attempt. It was interesting to read that Harry got stuck in the Tournament as part of Voldemort's ultimate plan.

I liked this story very much. It really pieced together some of the events that took place in book four.
But I have a question. If Frank's wife had been killed, wouldn't we have seen her at the end of book four during the Priori Incantatem scene? Just wondering...
