Hmm. A little strange, certainly. Maybe it would have been more improved if you could have told us what Saturn really means. If I recall my Zodiac book, it is the planet of change, the force of time. Saturn in Roman mythology destroyed his father only to be destroyed by his own son. But it isn't very clear in here what Saturn means. Other than that, though... it was written quite well, the kind of story you have to read over twice to really figure it out. Stylistic and quite true to both canon characters. ~Q |

| Great one, Connor! I like how it builds slowly--Quirrell's impatience against Bane's resentment. Both of them are arrogant--Bane because he scorns the debt he owes Quirrell, Quirrell because he refuses to accept the very message he came to seek. The tension is palpable, yet the errand is completed without a "showdown". Of course we know Quirrell's fate, which makes it all the more menacing a tale. Thanks for another great story! |
