| Hi guys. I wasn't exactly satisfied with the way this story turned out. It's the kind of story that doesn't work well with a word limit. There's a slightly longer original version of it in fanfiction.net, if you are interested. Thanks. |

Sad. Very, very sad, yet sweet and heartfelt.
I love the imagery you evoke. Great story! |

A wonderful story...the narrative tone you use makes the message all the more powerful. The pacing is excellent, and I'm impressed at how rich and detailed it seems, given the word limit. The encounter with the Ancestral Werewolf is intense! Consider me frightened.
A moving ending:
<<Before she fell, she raised her head and gave a long, piercing wail. Even in death she looked beautiful, irreplaceable. Unto his old age, Gryffindor would dream of her final cry, of the descending sweep of her mane, of her horn going out like a fallen candle, and he would wake with tears in his eyes.>>
Good job! |

Nice. The atmosphere you set is perfect. The folk tale passed down through the years. No quotes, everything secondhand. And having Godric learn humility and compassion at such a cost was a nice touch. I like this! |
