"Bring me to the big, furry creature that lives in this forest....I didn't mean Hagrid!" <giggle>
The joke seems to be on Luna here--she's spotted the elusive Crumple-Horned Snorkack, and it's just one of Hagrid's experiments. Hmmm, does this mean the creatures have escaped from Hagrid and the Forest to populate Scandinavia (uh-oh...sounds like a classic cautionary tale of biological meddling to me!)? Or can we assume that Luna, having enjoyed a small joke at her own expense, is now going to parade the supposed Crumple-Horned Snorkack to her classmates and have her own joke at their expense? Either way, it's a very funny idea, full of possibilities--which I hope you'll one day explore. |

This story made me smile! I'm glad Luna got her Crumple-Horned Snorkack.
I still don't understand Luna much, but I think you've caught her personality well. Absent-mindedly singing "Weasley is our King" sounds like something she'd do. ROFL at the reference to Stubby Boardman. |
