I discovered this fic while searching for Draco fics, since today is Draco's birthday.
So Draco's sure that Voldemort will win in the end. I see that this is very in-character for him. We all really hope that he's wrong. Keep up the good work! |

Oh my goodness, what a change. Lately it seems I've been reading a lot of fics that try to redeem Draco, but yours seems more likely. Draco is such a git about the importance of being Malfoy... I could easily seem him as having a perverse sort of pride in being one of "Voldemort's own"- which, by the way, is a very good title, it sort of makes you shiver before even beginning to read.
I do wish it had been a bit longer and you'd explored maybe a few memories Draco had of his father or delved deeper into his reasons for disliking Harry, but I only wish that because what you offered initially was so intruiging. I'm sorry writing Draco makes you feel so "evil and depressed", it would be fascinating to see what Voldemort has in store for our favorite bespectacled, messy haired teenager and what Draco's part in it might have been.
None the less, it's a lovely story and your Draco is spot on. |

| Interesting prospect but go further with the story- give some context even if the story will always remain short. On the critical side, this is what everyone thinks of Draco as maybe you could show him in a new light. What does he really think about Harry Potter- aside from the fact that their families have been at war for generations. I'm not saying that you have to make Draco nice (because he isn't) but why don't you try to show a bit more of who he is. |
