| ^_^ The first time I heard that song, as far as I can remember, was after OotP came out. The same summer, if I recall correctly. On vacation in England. In a stuffy little car driving around the countryside. I immediately thought of Lupin. I've had a special place for it in my heart ever since. I always drop whatever I'm doing whenever it comes on now. Well... reminiscing aside. I loved this story. So like Sirius and James to start howling their heads off just to be annoying! |

| I remember the first time I read this about a year or so ago, and, since then, I've been desperately trying to find it, as I had forgotten the title and the amazing authors. Thankfully, SQ has a thread for just such problems and I have been directed here. Thank God! This is such a great story, including one of my very favorite songs as well as my very favorite werewolf! |

What a delightful take on the Warren Zevon song! I've recently gotten into Zevon's music and I really like how you tied the lyrics in his song into the 3 Marauders. This was a fun piece! |

Absolutely brilliant. I was a bit skeptical...assuming it to be a song-fic and all, but I was quite pleasantly surprised. Your connections to the song lyrics are subtle but believable, and you created a nice backdrop as well as explanation for the boys to be in the States. I definately believe an encounter like that would give rise to *interesting* lyrics. Very cleverly done.

wow!!!!!!!!! i thought me and my dad were the only people who'd heard of warren zevon (rest his soul...) when he died our family had a mourning day and listened to him in the car everywhere we went for a week. all my friends were like "whatever... who's he?"
this was one of my favorite songs when i was SIX cause my dad would play it really loud when he was working out. this is such a funny story! i love how you tied everything in! puts a little sense in the song, cause the song has some of the strangest lyrics i've ever heard... |
