Very beautyful story! totally different from the things I normally read and like, but this one was fantastic. you make sirius' feelings very intense and "feelable", and your style, although quite poetic isn't artificial at all. So keep it up:-)

I like this account of Sirius' time in Azkaban very much. His concern for Remus, his guilt for James' death and Peter's escape all come across very clearly. Nicely done!

"Heart-faults deepened in the darkness of the moon. He turned away from the window and sat on the cold stone floor.

Fought back howls of anguish that washed through him in tidal waves, weakening the dam that held them back.

Shadows melted and ran together as the moon slipped fully behind clouds, leaving him draped in darkness, alone with his own agony."

I read that, fighting back howls of anguish myself. And then, when I got to that last bit :

"With Moony during the full moon, in the only way he could be.

Waiting for the night when they would run together again.

Saving himself for that moment.

But not saved." -
a howl of despair almost did escape me. You know, when a sob just bursts out of you and you find yourself gulping for air, unable to breathe - that's how I felt. Poor Padfoot. Poor Moony.

Very fast paced and intense -- emotionally intense as well. Good job!

Beautiful. Wonderfully written and very poetic. I liked it a lot. Infact, i like all of your stories. They are some of my absolute favorites.
