I adore Lily/James, and this was a wonderful and touching missing moment. Keep writing!

This is such a lovely story - short but full of insight into both Lily and James. I love the little revelation at the end, and the way she doesn't need to tell him, he just knows.
Great writing, as usual.

| Ah, excellent, a story about Lily's feelings about James by the end of seventh year. Very well portrayed, how completely their relationship turned around in the time after what we saw of them in book five. I'm all excited after reading this. Nicely done! |

| Beautiful and bittersweet. You've painted these few moments with giddiness and wonderment and love, and made us feel, in a very short space, the longing that came before, the bond that defines them in their present day, and both the hope and foreboding of their future. It's easy to see the love and strength they pass on to Harry. Bravo. |
