Stepbrothers Series - Great works. I really liked them

I love it. Your characterisation of both Hagrid and Tom rings very true, and I love the brotherly love between those two. I suppose later years will be even more interesting, with the possible death of Hagrid's father and perhaps the Chamber of Secrets. I'll be looking forward to reading them (which will probably not be tonight, but I *will* get back to this series).

I really like this innovative AU, and am eagerly anticipating how both Hagrid and Tom will be changed by their "new" lives. Will Tom still turn evil? Will Hagrid still be so, er, sweet? Can't wait to find out...

Wow, when I read the story about Mary and Tavish, I was really impressed. It was really good, an interesting idea, and fun to read. And now you came out with this! I like how you depicted Tom. He still has that streak in him-the streak Voldemort had-but it seems-so far, at least-to be put to good use! I love how supportive he is of Hagrid. That may not be a trait that is associated with Slytherin, but it Tom, it is beleiveable! You do a good job with these, and I can't wait to read more!!!

I really enjoy reading this AU - you two have a definite talent for taking the implausible and making it seem not only possible but probable. I think it's because of your characterisations. Tom still has the basic personality of canon Riddle, but it's tempered by the very different upbringing he's had. Hagrid is himself, only more confident, brought up in a close family.

I also like Mary Riddle and Tavish Hagrid - two essential OCs whose personalities fit with the canon actions we know about. I can't wait to see how the rest of this series goes - after all, Sharessa is still in her Chamber, and Tom is still the sort of person to go looking for her...although not setting her on innocent classmates!

Actually, I can just picture your Tom as a teacher in thirty-odd years giving people like Lucius Malfoy stern warnings about how they treat halfblood students, having been one himself. Now there would be irony for you...

Yey! Sweet! As always, of course! It might be quite interesting to see who Hagrid will cheer for in quidditch! Oh you know what might be super cute to write about? Tom teaching Hagrid to fly on a broomstick! That'd be really funny! Anyway, can't wait for more!!! Good job!! And hurry up for more!

Glad to see you continue this storyline. Nice job with Dumbledore - felt very incharacter. Thought his talk was with Hagrid was sweet.

He came right over to congratulate me in the middle of the Feast
-Thought the letter were a funny addition. Love how Hagrid always sees the best in Tom and how he is right to do so.

slip a little bit further than Tom would prefer sometimes
-immediately thought of the first move "I shouldn't 'av told ya that"

A very kind fic. I look forward to see how you the Chamber

Yay! I am so glad to see you continuing this series. It's wonderful to see the A/U Tom and Hagrid, yet, I think your story reinforces JKR's message of choices making the person and not breeding. Tom and Hagrid's love for one another is wonderful to see. :-) As always, can't wait to read more!

I really liked this characterization. Tom seems really close to a more mature Tom from PK's other great series "Time's Riddle". I hope to see another addition soon.

Yay! More Tom and Rubeus! *is very happy*

Awwwwwwwwww! They're so /sweet/! *grin* I love how they stick up for each other and everything. Hey, maybe they'll manage to alleviate some of the Gryffindor/Slytherin animosity, simply because they obviously care about each other.

*shakes head* I'm absolutely amazed about how you two manage to take amazingly obscure ideas (Slytherin the werewolf/Tom and Rubeus are stepbrothers) and make it sound like the most obvious thing to have occurred. I mean, of /course/ Tom's mum and Rubeus's dad would get married, and of /course/ Tom and Rubeus would be model brothers. Did anyone think otherwise? *grin* Fantastic.

*crosses fingers and prays that Tom doesn't go all phychopath on everyone. He's far too cool here to be evil...*

Hey! Maybe Tom'll show Rubeus the basilisk! I can see it now...
Tom: Hey Rubeus! This is my new pet. Her name's Sharessa!
Rubeus: Hi Sharessa! *pets basilisk*

As always, looking forward to the next part of the series. Keep writing, you two!
