I had expected a one shot when I saw the title of your story. I was surprised to see a multi-chaptered story.
The story was completely against my expectations. But it's great. The plot surprised me. When I said that I expected a one-shot I expected Dean and Seamus to just do some heroic act, which you are obviously leading to.
However, you've also created these great, flushed out characters in Dean's family.
Good job on rising above my expectations.
My only nitpick is about the formatting of the story. It would be easier to read if there was an extra line of space between paragraphs and lines of text. ^_^

| Oh my goodness! What a brilliant story! I don't normally venture away from my usually Snape-centric fics, but after reading the first paragraph or so of this one I was hooked. I have wanted to read about the "away-from-Hogwarts-lives" of other house mates of Harry & Ron. These two are particularly interesting, but there is little written about them.
