This is good. I especially liked the ending
<And so Remus kept his vigil. He walked, one foot after the other, each step dedicated to those who could not.>
Just beautiful and oh so sad. It's hard to imagine how Remus must have fel those terrible years after the deaths and you captured his anguish unflinchingly. I especially liked the thought Remus had walking that the earth supported him and the comfort of its solidity. Poor poor guy.

Well, I had to read at least one fic on the SQ's birthday and chose this one.

Yes, it's sad that Remus basically lost his three best friends in one night. No, he's not a monster -- but that's how the Wizarding World views him. Overall a good short fic.
