Oh, Besh. What a great look into this chapter of the Dursley's lives. I am continually impressed on how well you keep their characters true to what JKR has written, but still make them believable, sympathetic and wonderfully fleshed out. Again, I really enjoy getting the dual perspective of dinner and your use of imagery (the wilty lettuce on the warm plate and the pulverized steak) really gives the reader a sense of presence. . . but my favorite part is the dynamic you have between the two sisters. Poor Petunia is completely horrified by Lily and has let her sister completely dominate her life for so long I don't know if she even realizes it any more, yet Lily has no idea of the animosity. Interesting take on the beginnings of the story. :-) Sorry it's taken me ages to get over here!

Wow! Nobody hardly ever writes from the Dursleys' points of view! Very nice! You made them actually seem like real people, but without retaining their character in any way shape or form! Yay for youz! XD :) ; ) (And the letter from Lily... awwwww... I feel sorry for Petunia, though... I mean, it's not as if she is unable to change her views on her sister and the world she lived in, but she obviously isn't one to do such a thing in a matter of moments and reading that letter must've been downright painful.)

Interesting story! I don't often see stories about Vernon and Petunia's dating years; it makes yours all the more unique and fun to read. :) Please continue! I'd love to know what happens next.

Oh, Beshter ó you canít just leave it there! Poor Petunia and Vernon; and poor Lily, so blissfully innocent of all the trouble she has inadvertently caused. Sequel please?
