I really like the way you show Lockhart's thoughts it's really interesting, how much he thinks of himself.

Though I don't think Lockhart would be planning on leaving the country. The students new all year that he is a sham. And only the teachers besides for Harry and his friends knew that Snape had told him to find the chamber. So I think all the people he was popular with before he would still be popular with.
