This story was beautiful, and poignant. The terror in Ginny is shown to perfection and her frustration and feelings of helplessness and fear couldn't have been written any better. It gives you that tense tied up feeling in the stomach, especially reading about those who could not make it to safey, thank you for this frighteningly realistic story!

This was - really horrifying. I had a lump in my throat all the way through and the thought of poor Dennis Creeveys fate made actually sob. I really felt Ginny's frustration that she couldn't do anything to help and the desperation of the students who didn't make it...
This is ne of the best things I've read in a while. It may be peverse to say it lifted my mood but in an odd way it did- I was feeling grumpy and frustrated and I really needed to read something with the power to take me out of myself- which this sure did. So.. I may now go and do my housework without ending up loosing my temper. Thank you.

Woah.... wow.... *Shakes head* I really don't know where to start! This is unbelievable... it was a smidgen confusing at first, but WOW... so deep, powerful... I mean, you ought to know that, you wrote it, but MAN... You can bet I'll be passing this one around! :O

You wrote Ginny so well. The whole thing, you did is beautifully (well you, and Helen) :). MAN.... Ho-LEY Mackerel.... *Shakes head again* Fabulous. Excellent. Beyond that. And that last line... it contrsts to masterfully against all of the other lines, it just accentuate's Ginny's fury, irrepressible worry and concern and love, even more.... Yipes! This is one of the best works (or dark works, at least) that I have read in a long time. Thank you!!! :D ;)

Wow, this was really ironic. I love your adjectives and how you described Ginny's feelings of helplessness. I have a real image of the atmosphere and everything that's going on.

This gave me chills. You capture the sense of desperation very well. It's almost as if you can feel what Ginny feels, being trapped like that. And it is very realistic, in that I can definitely see the Hogwarts staff doing something like that to "protect" their students. *two thumbs up*

Oh dear go. This is just... utterly terrible. I don't even know what to say, I'm too shocked. I'd wish for another chapter, but I'm afraid to find out what happened. As you stated this is a one shot already I guess I'll just have to continue this in my head...
Great writing and loved the creativity! :)

Deep, very deep, I like it, the last line is just so chilling.

ummm...what the crap? I think you meant it to be set in the next year...but _another_ battle at Hogwarts? This is so weird, I don't know what to say...maybe if you continue the story, it'll work out better...

That was harrowing to read. The images were so vivd and Ginny's feelings and frustration and fear leapt out. The last line's a killer as well.

That's an interesting poem.

Wow....this was really deep. I liked it very much, and hope that you do continue, it was a nice set up for a really detailed tale.
