| Chilling. It makes sense that Narcissa would care about purity, but not necessarily about Voldemort. And as a mother, of course she wants to protect her son. Draco's change from proud and haughty to subservant and weak are prime examples of what it's like to be a DE. I read a great fic once where Narcissa was glad to be rid of her husband because he was an embarassment, bowing down to another. Her pride places her above all others. |

Very good. I don't know if you meant it this way, but this story could almost be a Missing Moment from HBP, taking place a little before Chapter 2.
Good characterizations of all, especially Narcissa. Draco being submissive didn't seem right, but it makes sense that he wouldn't be as arrogant and slimy to his mother. (Slytherin's are people, too!) |
