I think this is a lovely little interlude for the Trio. It showcases their friendship and the dynamics between all three of them perfectly, with touches of humour, romance and even pathos (Dumbledore's scar... just something that Harry would remember). The dénouement at Elephant and Castle was absolutely fantastic. This is also good for those who don't know where or what "Elephant and Castle" is! ;)

Brilliant, mate. Absolutely brilliant. Reminds me of Neil Gaiman's "Neverwhere" with the literalisations of tube stop names. You should read it if you haven't, just for Earl's Court and Angel and Islington. You've got a light touch for the comedy as well; not overdone at all.

My train goes through Elephant and Castle - the commute is going to be considerably cheered by the imagining the elephant and castle! A great story, well written and good characterisation.

I already read this over at PhoenixSong but I just wanted to review again because I think this is such a lovely piece. The trio are so well written, and it's such a beautiful moment. :)

That's cool. I don't quite understand why Hermione and Harry are so astonished though. Something local?
