Oh my gosh. I love this story so much.

I've always loved Regulus lots, but now I love him even more for backing out of killing dear Siri. I swear I'm probably not gonna get a wink of sleep tonight because this is so beautifully haunting. Oh. Oh my GOD. Five trillion stars for you. ::sticks gold stars on paper and hands to you::

Peace forever

This is interesting and provokative. Regulus, as you have written him, idolizes Sirius at the same time as he really doesn't like him.

I am very curious to see what you will have him do. I'm looking forward to the next installment.

This is wonderful!

I don't usually like marauder era stories, but you did a great job! The insights into Regulus' thoughts about his brother seem spot on, and the end is chilling. First, I think, we were supposed to think that Regulus stopped wanting to be a death eater because of Muggle killing (or at least that's what I thought when I first read the series. And then with HBP, it's easy to interpret Sirius' statement to mean that Regulus didn't want to help Voldemort with the horcruxes. But your idea fits so well, too.

Great job!

Intense. It's one of the few Regulus fics I've ever read, but I am enjoying it immensely. Will this be continued?
