I liked this fic. It's tense, and fast-paced, and there is a lot of action. The action is well-written and the story is interesting.

My recommendation would be to consider working your A/N notes into the story. There is plenty of room for you to do that (and you've done a very nice job with the rest of the story--I really think you have it in you to do that). Your story shouldn't need explaination. I think this is a story with real potential, and I've enjoyed reading it.
