Oh, bravo! Bravo! I love both the concept and the execution of this--the pacing and breaks are just right, and the writing is excellent, too. You choose just the right details to include. This is my favorite line: "But itís not necessary; Harry is already buzzing in that ridiculous, drunken purr that is his song of slumber." Makes me smile, and is delivered right on target.

Well written and touching. I especially love the Marauders' conversations, and Rowena's analysis of the virtues of the four houses. Much food for thought here. Bravo.

Thanks for this beautiful story. Certain passages did sound almost musical, imbuing the words with something lyrical -- specifically Rowena's thoughts on water, Remus' thoughts on James' love, and Ginny's thoughts on marriage, childhood, and death. Those were the most melodious moments for me. I enjoyed the entire story very much, and the four decisions at the close had terrific impact. One obvious mistake (Peter as Secret Keeper), one obvious correct decision (James dating Lily), and two that depend a lot on the reader's judgement (Founding Hogwarts with Slytherin and Harry accepting his terminal illness). I believe Harry made the right choice (I was so very proud of Ginny for her wise love and beautiful words, and of Harry for accepting her help). And I think Rowena probably made the best choice she could, too. Thanks again for sharing this!
