Aw, very well written and very sad. Good job.

OH. This was one of the most emotional parts of DH to me, and you really did it justice. I loved how Mr. and Mrs. Granger's relationship kind of mirrored Ron and Hermione's and the part about the brother in the RAF. A touching and honest story.

Excellent. I was near to tears at the end. Poor Hermione, having to do what is the most safe for her parents and most heartbreaking for her.

I know I reviewed this on phoenixsong.net, so I'll just restate here that I think all of us would like to see a follow-on story where we meet "Miss Higgenbottom" again. :)

Oh Hermione! This just made me want to give her a big hug. What an amazing young woman, and all at the tender age of 17. Thank you for reminding us that there were other heroes in this story besides Harry. Lovely!

Really excellent. I've had an image of Hermione being rather cold-blooded in sending her parents away, but this definitely softens things a lot. Thanks for writing!
