You are absolutely right about men when they get sick! I speak as a woman who has just got married. Padfoot sulking in the car on the way back was pretty believable too. This was a hilarious and brilliant story - I'd heard a reference to the time when someone tried to get Padfoot 'fixed' in a different Marauder story, and this is a great description of such an episode. Pity one can't take Moony to the vet too ... maybe to a late evening clinic in winter, under Wolfsbane? If that's your first attempt at a long story you'd better write some more!
