I can't believe that it was Pansky! I was at the edge of my seat when I was reading this. I mean, I was think the whole time, "Hermione! What's wrong with you?!?! What about Ron?!?!" At first, I thought that it was Ginny because I believe that if Ginny doesn't get with Harry, she'll get with Malfoy (plus, the Ginny/Malfoy thing in the library in "Points of No Return" sort of leads to me thinking that). But, then Neville said, "Hermione?", and I was all shocked. But, all in all, it was a great story. But Malfoy is such a jerk. "
“Why, Pansy--I didn’t know you had it in you,” Draco said almost proudly. He paused a moment, then looked as if he had a thought. “How long are you going to stay looking like that?”
“I don’t know for sure,” Pansy answered. “At least another two hours or so.”
Draco grinned lasciviously and slipped an arm around her, beginning to usher her out of the room. “Wicked--let’s go play.”

I'm a duffer - I didn't work it out!
I thought Ron was having a nightmare and was going to bolt upright and 'aaaaagggh' at any moment.
Then I thought Hermione had tried to make a love potion to attract Ron to her, stuffed up somewhat and made herself fall for Malfoy.
Then I just read and stopped thinking. Lucky really. I should try it more.
This was so, *so* funny NZ.
Hermione checking out Ron at the end was wicked, in both senses of the word.

I'm glad to know that I frightened everyone just a little as a Halloween treat! Oh, thank goodness, just...thank the bloody goodness. At first I was like, "Nooo!!" One of my fav authors has joined the dark side, Draco, leave me be!!!
