Dear Ginny,
Hi! How is everything? I'm
bored to death as usual. I wish summer break was over, or that I could
go to Diagon Alley to get my schoolbooks. I'll try to send my old ones
over so at least YOU can get some studying done.
Mum and Dad were furious that
I shrank my teeth so for punishment I can't get my schoolbooks till August
24. It's horrible!
How's Ron? Have you heard from
Harry? I haven't gotten a letter since last week, which seems like ages
ago. Have you been feeding Pigwidgeon sugar? He was bouncing off the walls
and kept hooting. Did you hear what happened to Malfoy, Crabbe, and Goyle?
The girl next door is insufferable!
She just moved here from the U.S. She's a witch too, but she doesn't even
try to hide it! Moreover, she thinks I'm a Muggle. And she keeps going
on and on about how she knows Harry Potter and how they're best friends.
What a load of rubbish!
She is going to Hogwarts and
she'll be in fifth year too! If she's in Gryffndor…
And, my parents think we're
best friends or something so I have to get my schoolbooks with her! I
can't stand it! Well at least Harry's going to have a good time.

Dear Hermione,
This is the first time in a week Ron has
let me use his owl. He says it is because I named him Pigwidgeon. I say
it's because Percy almost beat him at chess.
Nothing is happening here. Bill is coming
tomorrow and Charlie came a few days ago. It is boring here because all
they ever do is either lock themselves in their rooms or play Quidditch.
But, we are going to the Quidditch Museum the day after Bill comes! Ron
is psyched!
What happened to Malfoy? If he did something
bad, Ron and Dad will be so happy!
We are going to have dinner with some muggles
tonight! Something for work, Dad says. I think it will be cool, but I
don't know if they have any kids. If they don't I know Mum won't let me
bring any schoolbooks.
I am worried about Harry though. I haven't
heard from him. If Ron has, he wouldn't tell me. When I asked Ron if Harry
had wrote him, Ron just said "It's not your business you little git.
You still don't fancy him, do you?" How rude!
I hope I see you in Diagon Alley! I don't
know when we're going. When I do, I'll tell you.

Dear Ginny,
How was the Quidditch Museum?
Did you learn any new charms or spells?
Malfoy got in trouble because
of the spells we put on him. The Ministry thought he did them after term
ended!
I can't wait till term starts.
The Muggle library is so small.
I just got a letter from Harry!
He's fine, but the Dursleys are worse then ever because of the Ton Tongue
Toffee.
How's Ron? I haven't heard
from him in a while. I've been writing him, but he's not responding. Is
it because I visited Viktor this summer? I hope not, because we are just
friends.
The girl next door is still
pretty bad.

Dear Hermione,
Ron is being so rude today! I just asked
him what he was so angry about (he has been locking himself up in his
room like Percy), and he just told me to bug off! I think he is still
angry with Viktor, not you though, I think.
Anyway, the Quidditch Museum was fun. Even
though I don't play it, I had a good time. It was one of those times when
I am glad I have some many brothers.
There was this rotten spell that seekers
can put on each other to distract one another. Charlie wouldn't tell me
it though.
I am so glad Harry is all right. He had
nothing to do with those toffees! Fred and George are at it again, but
hopefully Mum hasn't caught on yet. I do enjoy their jokes.
We are going to Diagon Alley on August
23. Do you think your parents will let you go a day early? I am getting
lonesome for a girl. There is only Mum and me!
Our dinner with the Muggles was fine. How
is that girl? Nothing else is happening here.

Dear Ginny,
I asked Mum if we could go
on the 23rd and she said YES! I can't wait to see you again.
And she said that I am going to spend the rest of the time till term starts
at the Leaky Cauldron! Do you think you can too? I'll die if the only
person that I have to talk to is Elizabeth. Is Harry coming? I think it
would do him good to get away from the Dursleys.
There is only one problem.
Elizabeth. She's the next door neighbor, the one I told you about and
she has to go with us. Well, she's going to freak when she finds out that
I know Harry Potter. She didn't believe me when I said I knew Harry, this
ought to be quite funny.
It's a good thing that Ron
is not mad (well, not too mad) at me. It just wouldn't be the same if
he was. Plus this term would be really boring.
What did you do at the Muggles?
It's probably a lot like our dinner. Have you ever tried pizza? It's really
good. We should go to the Muggle street for lunch when we visit Diagon
Alley. I know where there's a pizza parlor nearby.

Dear Hermione,
I can come too! I had to practically force
my Mum to let me. I told her and told her that you would have a horrible
time if I didn't come. Finally Ron asked her and she said yes! (I guess
Ron isn't angry at you any more)
Harry is coming soon. Dumbeldore said he
could come. Mum and Dad won't say why we have to get Dumbeldore's permission.
Anyway he is coming.
For the Muggle dinner, it was quite boring.
I forgot what we had. Fred pretended to fall asleep, Percy kicked him
under the table, and George whispered that it wasn't very prefect-like
to kick people. I think I was the only one who heard him though. I wish
something fun or exciting could have happened there.
What is pizza? I have never even heard
of it before. I hope I can try it when we come to Diagon Alley. Pigwedgeon
is acting like he has had a major overdose of sugar. I don't know if I
can get this letter tied on his leg.

writing to "that Krum git." I told him to shut up, but he won't
listen to me.

Dear Ginny,
Tell Ron that, yes, I'm still
writing to Viktor. And that he's being stupid about all this.
It's going to be so much fun!
We will have to get pizza when we're there. Elizabeth is excited, but
I wish she wasn't coming. But, her little sister is nice and she'll be
in first year.
It's good that Harry is coming.
Plus it will be nice to have everyone there. And plus, maybe I could convince
them to wear their S.P.E.W. badges. Oh, here's the school owl. It's a
bit late , but at least it made it. Did you get the schoolbooks I sent
you? I wish I had my new ones already. I guess I'll have to wait till
we go.
Did Ron hear about the new
broom that's coming out? I think it's called
Star Sweeper, but I'm not sure.
It's supposed to be really good. Don't ask how I know and why I care about
Quidditch. Viktor's got me into it.

Harry,
Man, life here is a bummer. Percy talks
about everything boring. Pig is full of sugar, Ginny is making life miserable,
Fred and George are making a racket, and Hermione isn't helping either.
You hear from her lately? I hope she isn't still with that Krum git.
The Muggles treating you all right? Mum
says you can come. We'll pick you up soon. At least Mum says one good
thing. She won't let me get a Star Sweeper. Don't Fred and George have
enough money? Stupid. Idiotic. Dumb.
Tell me if you hear from Hermione. I don't
really care if you do though. Ginny is telling me to shut up. Well, if
she acts like that I won't let her use Pig. See you.

Dear Hermione,
Pigwidgeon is not sick. He is just tired.
Ron has been using him constantly. I think he is writing to Harry. I hope
he is writing to Harry.
I have been looking over the schoolbooks
you sent me. I try to be as dedicated a student as you. I hope you can
help me at Diagon Alley.
The Star Sweeper is a new broom. It is
from the makers of the Cleansweep 7's. I know this because all of my brothers
(except Percy) love Quidditch. Ron is trying to get Mum to buy one, but
they are very expensive.
Percy is still in the Magical Cooperation
department. He is having a hard time, after what happened at Hogwarts.
No one here really talks about it. Whenever the subject comes up we all
go silent.
I would like to meet Elizabeth and her
sister. What is her sister's name?
Oh, I just heard another explosion from
Fred and George's room. They sure put those Galleons to good use. Charlie
is going to their room. I can see all of this from my room. The door is
open.
Nothing much else is happening. Percy is
boring us all to death, but that is all. Now I am sounding like Ron. See

Elizabeth's little sister's
name is Ella. She's really nice. If only Ella had been born first. She's
very easy to like.
The Star Sweeper is better
than the Firebolt. I just got a letter from Viktor and he keeps talking
about Quidditch. Now I know all about it.
I had forgotten all about Rita
Skeeter, so I let her out yesterday, and she started to buzz around my
head and I told her that I would report her if she didn't leave, and then
she was gone.
Can an Animagus Apparate when
in animal form?

Dear Hermione,
I asked Dad about the Animagus and he said
they can Apparate. I had to be careful not to let the Rita Skeeter thing
slip though. I am glad you are going to help me, I can't get the Summoning
Charm, or any of the Herbology!
I would like to meet Ella. Elizabeth doesn't
sound nice.
Ron is still trying to convince Mum to
buy him a Star Sweeper. She won't. When I told him you were going to kill
him, he just laughed. Just like Bill. Bill is my favourite brother, but
I don't like it when Ron, or any one else, acts like him. Harry was supposed
to come yesterday, but we were out of Floo powder. I hope the Muggles
are treating him all right.
Percy says he is working very hard on "Ministry
Business" But George told me that he and Fred snuck into his room
when he was gone and found out that he just doesn't want us to know he's
writing to Penelope! That was so funny I almost laughed, but Percy came
around the corner and I had to shut my mouth really quick.

I don't think life's THAT bad. I did
notice Pig was a little overstrung.
When you come tell Fred and George not
to bring any more candy, I got in loads of trouble.
How's Percy's job going? Just kidding!
Ron I think you've gone over board on
this Krum thing. And if you really want to know you can write to Hermione.
I don't know and I don't plan to try to find out, it's her life not mine.
But I did hear from her.
Yeah the Muggles are all right. The first
month was the worst. At least Dudley won't come near me any more. They
went out one night and try'd to call Mrs. Figg but she wasn't home which
is odd. Do you think that she's Arabella Figg? One of the people Dumbledore
sent Snuffles to find?
There is probably a good reason that
you're Mum and Dad aren't getting you a new broom, although the Star Sweeper
does sound cool. And think of it this was-at least you've got Parents.

Why haven't you been writing
to me?! I don't get it! You haven't been righting back at all. Just because
of some stupid thing that happened at Christmas! I mean really! And then
I get all this stuff from Harry saying that you're asking about me. Well
why don't you just ask me?! Did I act like this when you were acting weird
about Fleur Delacour?

I don't get why you get so upset when I mention him. You were so excited
when you saw him at the Quidditch cup. Viktor and me are just friends.

beat Oliver one day. You been writing to Harry? I have. We were going
to get him yesterday, but the Floo powder ran out. That STINKS.

veela. Come on.
Still studying. Studying makes me feel sick.

Thanks about finding out if
Animagi Apparate. Harry had trouble with the Summoning Charm too. It's
all in learning the theory. And Herbology is a lot easier in fourth year
then it look's.

Couldn't Ron just earn money
then exchange the Muggle money at Gringotts for wizard money?
Well He won't be laughing when
I see him. Trust me. I liked Bill a lot, he was nice. That happens a lot
with my cousin Raoul, my other cousins imitate him.

We were just at a Quidditch match. The Cannons

Fleur is only a half-veela. And what is

Dear Hermione,
Puddlemere United won, I was upset for
Ron
(who was devastated), though it was a good
watch. The Seeker, Roger Ekens, was very good he caught the Snitch about
half way. The Cannons Seeker Orville Wench, was horrible. The final score
was 40-190. The score was tied when Ekens caught the Snitch.
I can't wait to see you! Diagon Ally will
be fun. Fred and George want to go down Knockturn Ally without Mum seeing.
I really want to meet Elizabeth and Ella.
Oh , I beat Ron last time but it looks
like I'd better hurry up or he will beat me. See you on the 23rd!

It's too bad that Puddlemere
United won. And not the Chuddley Cannons. I can see why Ron is upset about
this. But did they have Wood playing as Keeper? If they did, I can see
why they won! I can't believe that I know so much and want to learn how
to play Quidditch. It's just odd to me.
When are we going to pick up
Harry? When we get there? Or when we've been there for a wile? I have
his and Ron's copy of Fantastic beasts and where to find them so Harry
must have mine.
And I can't believe what I
saw in a Muggle shop today. I saw Chocolate Frogs! And they had Wizard
cards! But they weren't moving so that's good. And I found a recipe for
Butterbeer. But I haven't try'd it out yet. I'll show it to you when I
see you.

Ron,
I can't believe that the Chuddley Cannons
lost to Puddlemere United. Unless they had Wood for a strategist. Knowing
him, he probably drilled it into them. I just got a letter from Snuffles
and he seems ok but I can't believe he's come back and they'll be looking
for him. Maybe not like before but still… In case, you were wondering
